with christianity came hatred, war, persectution and most dreaded of all- hypocracy. They burned people and stoned them for beliefs that were seprate from theirs, such as worshipping nature. hey preached to accept and love one another- but all they brought was hatred to us Pagans. they turned such symbols as the Pinnacle and the Knot of the Slain, and warped their meanings- lying and saying they were demonic and insidious symbols. Halloween's origins are tied to the harvest, Pagan in origin.

Neo-pagan religions, such as dinism, Wicca, and Druidic practices revered nature and Gods whom percided over the many aspects of life. They stressed good harvests and the shifting seasons, giving thanks for a good year. These religions showed how they went back to the very begining of time, complete with "great beasts" before man ( that could have been dinosaurs) and expain all that was and all that will come to be.
Then along came religions such as Christianity, which mutilated these views.

The Druids were not devil worshippers and Samhain was about honoring the dead, not frolicking with demons. This video is very misleading.

ok so technically shouldn't celebrate christmas too . it was apagan holiday that early christianized. They christianized it because people are more likley tolisten to yyu and convert .. than if you went in and started throwing out all their practices. it' would be like going to someone home and throwing all their stuff on the lawn.. so early christians cahnged the meaning of theri festivals make it likely for a true conversion
