Sean Hannity is also ignorant. The military doesn't defend free speech, name one war that was fought in the last 70 years that protected civil liberties.
The war on terror and the legislation that goes alongside it is actually harmful to civil liberties, both American civil liberties and Afghan civil liberties
I myself find Michael Crook's comments deplorable, however I don't support the military. I have sympathy for their sacrifice
