  • @holyorderlatvia ..Paldies for your comments / observations.

  • @40bcoots none, just sometimes used by different nationalist movements, patriots :)

haven't seen it in real life though. it isn't so popular :)

  • @holyorderlatvia ..yes, I see that .. but by whom / which / what party / group?

  • @40bcoots oh, I see, that's just another patriotic version of Latvia's national symbols :)

  • @holyorderlatvia ..I'm a little wrong in my description .. go to "Latvia is in Latvian Hands" .. is the flag shown there, but without the state coat of arms in the centre.

    Briva Latvija

  • @40bcoots mhm.. I can't imagine. Maby you could find a picture?

  • @holyorderlatvia ..I've seen another flag ... in the shape of a vertical cross, with double Latvian flags on each of the arms... what does that one mean?

  • @40bcoots Nazi's chose swastika as their symbol partly also because of it's northern europian historical meaning. NSS or NPU in english was a far right political movement, which supported principles of latvian national unity, social justice in a strong state and traditional family values. They didn't proclaim themselves anyhow.

  • @holyorderlatvia ..yes . I noticed the swastika similarity. does that mean the traditional northern european innocent swastika? or the nazi swastika?

  • @40bcoots It's just the symbol of this political movement. In some way - those 4 flags create a swastika, it 's just an original idea.

  • @holyorderlatvia ... yes, I can see that, but what does it represent / stand for? obviously something different to the normal Latvian flag.

  • @40bcoots Those are four connected Latvia's flags.

  • What does that 'square' logo / icon / badge mean?
