@syclone1931 I agree and truthfully,I discovered them when they released Damnation but was was determined to buy their old stuff and I have to tell you that MAYH and Orchid are my favorites from Opeth...period.

Opeth is really the metallica of their genre. Some fans have been around since the first album and say the first 4 are the best, and the new fans who hadn't discovered the band till the black album or in opeth's case "blackwater park". New fans will argue that Opeth has only "progressed/evolved" and Heritage is their best album ever. As an old fan i'll just say I'm disappointed with what the band has become and would like to see a reunion with the original 4 members from the first 2 cd's.
