Cheyenne, WY Tornado Thursday 5-22-08

Here is a tornado that dropped out of the sky East of Cheyenne, WY. The footage was taken by mile marker 375 on I-80 Eastbound. The man behind the camera is KE7RQC a local Sheriff's Deputy. A pole barn and shed were completely destroyed along with some moderate-heavy damage on 4 homes.

For anyone wondering, Cheyenne doesn't get too many tornadoes. I was in Laramie that day (I was still in junior high at the time), and I saw the rotation pretty much right next to the one that hit. I didn't SEE it hit the building, but we could all hear it. The only bad part was the hail damage, but otherwise, it was freaking awesome.

Watching the video I was like "move bitch, move!", I guess you can tell there have never been any tornados where I'm from in my life time. xD

@takemypot We do, but I've never seen one go into town, during the season in which this video was taken, I think a dozen or so tornadoes touched down, Laramie had the real damage, I think there was one death, via falling debris, but no deaths from the tornadoes directly.

Cheyenne and the surrounding jurisdictions have their shit together, and they make sure the residents have MORE than enough time to get to safety, I was driving on College during this, and the LEOs were making sure we we safe
