  • Many gymnasts can't go to the Olympic Games because they're 15 in the Olympic year. Then they have to wait until 19, when they are tired or not motivated or just not as good as they were.

    That's sad.

  • i don't think the age really matters because they trained so hard to reach there goals. there should not be an age limit!

  • Who cares what age they are! If a child or young teen wants to participate in the Olympics and they have what it takes they should be able to. If they want to give up their childhood to train for this, then let em. Reguardless if they are 5 or 15. In order to be a Olympic athlete it takes years and years of training. You don't just wake up overnight and your in Olympic shape, you have to work for it.

  • The age they compeate at doesnt really matter, but I think there should be an age for them to start training however many hours they do, kids deserve to have a life before they have to start worring about broken necks, from experience, injuries arent much fun when your 16, let alone when your 6

  • whats the school called?

  • actually i don't really think age limit really do matters...whenever the age limit is 16 or 5...they started training like 3 or 4 years old... having an age limit won't change the fact of how hard they are trained...it can't really protect the kids' health or what. it just limit the chances of going to big events or competitions

  • "sigh" before you start complaning at least learn how to articulate He Kexin's name good. it's He Kexin! Not He kesjin.

  • if girls are fifteen in the olympic year they should have their training observed and the olympic gymnastics officials should be able to decide weather to let her compete can you imagine your whole life's work ruined becasuse you're 1 month too young.

  • @72chub

    What are you replying to?

  • @MelodiaTodoElDia actually the age is 16.

  • @conan42364 Well other countries are afraid that young athletes are training so hard their lives are hell. young gymnasts who are also olympians could end up with horrible complications, some lead to death. It's just not by human code that 15 year-old girls should be wrecking themselves that much for fame, or honor.
