  • which style of benchpress would you use for a sport like rugby, as i want the size and strength. slightly for vanity but for the level i play i need to be extremely strong? so what would you recommend? could you recommend a chest workout for an advanced lifter thanks

  • @Didthecat12 If the program is designed a certain way you could implement both styles within the same program. But that would take effective program design of course

  • dont make fun of me or tell me crap but my coaches tell me not to arch my back when i'm bench pressing cause you can hurt your back doing like that

  • @WeezyMcCheezy Depends on the purpose of the lift and its place within a program

  • Great video. Thank you very much for posting this. How many sets and reps do you guys usually do?

  • @IrishKyokushin Well thanks mate. How many sets and reps depends on the structure and purpose of the actual program

  • Clear, concise and informative. Much appreciated!

  • Thanks for the instruction!!! maybe this is the form i'm looking for to increase my bench press

  • @MarantoPower Well that is intelligent isn't it. Given I've trained thousands of champions in the physique world and lecture all over the world - written for many magazines in the industry and have been running a Coaching business successfully now into 4 decades - AND PLUS given Coach Weiss just won the World Raw Natural Powerlifting Championships this summer - I think we're qualified. Try spelling my name right - and look at credentials before you illustrate your own stupidity

  • @Cavar21 Depends on what kind of strength, for limit strength and sheer numbers you do Powerlifting - for development, relative strength, strength density the other style is more appropriate, but they can both be used simultaneously as well depending on the program
