Here is an old S.S classic that I realized was not here anymore. It used to be, which is the reason I didn't post this months ago. I've made it my job to re-post Sesame Street clips that have been pulled. A great tune! It sounds a bit like Joe Raposo singing but I don't think it is.

  • I remember this one as well and i also have parts of the scenes in my toy sesame street camera i have to look for it somewhere.

  • I know EXACTLY what you're talking about. I have the same thing. It was a movie you cranked yourself. I also have mad painter # 7 on it and one of the "falling baker" segments. I have to find those too!

  • All the people i knew who thought Sesame Street was for "babies" ended up in remedial reading. i watched Sesame street until Secondary School, and i was always ahead.

  • When I was in grade 2 I sang this one at school one day & a kid I knew said to me "Sesame Street is for babies!" I'll bet he's somewhere watching & enjoying this video right now!

  • Are all the Candy mentioned in this clip still available to this day?

  • I remember this song and cartoon very well. It was aired the same day I murdered my neighbor and his dog. "Muhahahahahahahahahaha!"

  • @ohbutmeow: Candy was a lot cheaper in the late 60s/early 70s; my mom still remembers paying 12¢ for a few candy fruit slices at a department store. :-)

  • *hands candyman 72 cents* I'll take em all!

  • I love all the "number" songs!

  • Error: At 0:25, can you see the candy hearts switch colors for a second?

  • I was actually looking for this particular clip of sesame street because the sound kind of gives me a nostalgic feeling of my childhood days. Thanks to whoever posted this video.

  • Oh wow,its fantastic that this is on here! I still remember this one fairly accurately(hte only thing is-I remember it as being one of the School House Rock jingles)I've been looking for it forever! Thanks for posting this.

  • Hey, how is it that 8 cents will buy you eight jelly beans or eight lollipops? Lollipops are more expensive (and substantial!) than jelly beans, lol.
