This is an old video of Peter Erskine playing a set of Yamaha Oak Custom drums, as part of an advert for Evans J1 heads. The Oaks sometimes get a bad rep, but this footage shows how good they sound, especially as a jazz drum set.

All the grooves hes playing are based on brazillian music. The first groove is based on braz. Samba and the second, with the brushes, on bossa nova. Pete enjoys brazillian stuff for sure.
