    For gaining strength and flexibility in the back there are several poses you could practice. Here some examples:

    Bhujangasana - Cobra

    Sarvangasana - Shoulder Stand

    Matsyasana - Fish

    These are just some examples. Working with your back muscles is good for strengthening the back and the poses in which you turn or bend increase the flexibility.

    We also have a category for yoga for back pain where you can find all kinds of exercises for the back!

  • O thank you that definitely cheers me up ! This position ( and overall flexibility ) is so important for good health, also what is your advice to a person who wants to gain back flexibility but has a really stiff and weak back ? Should I do back muscles work out ? Love to you too !

    Don't worry if you cannot complete the position yet. It is all just about practice. Make this position part of your daily practice and you will get there!

  • I can't do this position because I'm not flexible enough, can I get it with proper stretch even though I'm 25 ?
