La deuxième guerre mondiale a vu un développement rapide de tous les types d'armes, mais c'est probablement dans le domaine de l'aviation, et plus particulièrement dans celui des avions de chasse que les progrès furent les plus spectaculaires. • @edy093 no no im just a person who looks to the past and learn from it ,maybe these politicians around the world should do this before sending people to hopeless wars around the world to obtain resources, profit and influence calling it bringing democracy ,theres no honour in death just death ,to love you country is good but to follow like a sheep without question is very dangerous ,the worst country for this is the usa ,i think ,bye

  • @RICHARDTOMLEY10WHARF Thanks to talk to me about Oradour sur glane, I didnt know it occured. How do you know all that things? Are you an history teacher?

  • @edy093 yes the great Charles de Gaulle ,he and family lived in exile during the war 2 miles from here where i live ,a place called duddleston heath in shropshire ,hitler was a evil liar ,he tricked everyone ,france or the french have nothing to be ashamed of ,i often think of Oradour sur glane ,what so many suffered ,if only the neonazis today could be shown what happened in places like that ,the world would be a better place

  • @RICHARDTOMLEY10WHARF

This part of the history is a big shame to France, we all know than we helped Hitler but that was cause of the Leaders like Pétain.

But don't forget, with that there was too Charles de Gaulle, exile in great britain, who helped a lot the allies with "La France Libre".

So it's easy to critic french planes, but think more to the context!

I first apologize to have compared 09/11 with france in 1939, that is not the same subject, and my world was a bit racist again americans, sorry ^^'(yesterday I was tired). You are right to talk about the marginot line, in effect, Philippe Pétain who was the etat major's leader thinked than German didn't had any chance to cross it(of course they did). Furthermore, when panzers were joined in bigs division, B2 and B1 french were dissiped.
