I dont think I will try the race. I already lost one plane (unintentionally) to the race, never to be seen again. It was probably washed up somewhere in Brazil!

Thanks for the nice comment. The H9 cub kit with wheels is £130 in the UK (about $250 US) and the floats are $60 ($120). You would also need to choose an engine (an OS46LA would suit although mine is electric) and radio equipment. I use 2.4Ghz Spektrum (no glitches!)
