Pokemon Shiny Gold X Walkthrough Part 2 - Rival Battle #1!

In this segment we experience our first rival battle with Panda and explore the route on the way to Violet City.

um idk if i should catch a ledyba and train it yet. I mean i like it! but i already have a croconaw, pidgey, bellsprout, spinarak, butterfree, onix, and gastly, and i dont want to spend to much time training, or cathcning many pokemon... and i dont think im going to be using ledyba, or ledian when it evolves, later on in the game... so idk! but ledyba are so awesome!.... =/ (im about to beat the 1st gym leader)

I would definitely suggest limiting the number of pokemon you use for the sake of experience, as it because a hassle later in the game if you're severely underleveled.

hey if you wanna save go into Options>Emulator>Save Type>And make sure 128k is checked

By the time I had already figured this out I was over halfway through recording and didnt feel like re-doing anything. It's fixed for future games though.

If you start with Totodile the first rival fight is SO much harder cause chikorita has razor leaf...:(
