  • It illustrates the importance of parents in Islam..the story of a man whose mother is about to pass away..he's looking back at all the memories he holds of her; in sadness perhaps wishing he could have done more. This reminds us that we must cherish and love our parents before they depart us as Allah instructs. Hope that helps.

  • Suicide is prohibited by the Holy Qur'an (that's the HOLY book, just in case you don't know, jerk).

  • i think he's speaking of his mother-in-law.

i mean if it was his mother, he would recall his childhood memories too.

he talks about having tea with her.

  • @Abhaqqkarim786 I disagree very much. =] If her mom was a believer. =] I see no reason why prayers for her will not be accepted. =]

  • @aisha0 if your mother died a non-muslim then wheew thats just very sad because it makes no sense praying for her cause its not ever gonna be accepted sorry

  • @Fahadhaq2006 You're welcome, and I'm a sister :)

  • @BoilingTheKettle thank you for this reminder brother

  • Makes me cry every single time. Not just tearing up, either; it's big, honking, disgraceful sobs.

  • so sad.....

    my aunts mom just died!

  • one of my favorite nasheeds

  • @aisha0 may the Creator answer your prayers and give your mother a place in accordance to his mercy. He knows our hearts and is closer to us than we imagine. We are often concerned about formal names for faith we use to distinguish but in the end everyone has his very own relationship to his creator which is not defined by words, names and meanings we give them. It is the matter of the heart and our truthfulness towards outselves.
