  • I remember all these guys and friends and used go to most of their gigs...they were known at the time for being such professional muso's and gregsbad is so right about Mark Kennedy the drummer. Chris Brown was the lead singer.

  • Yeah, I think Mark Kennedy died not too long ago. He was one of those live life to the fullest kind of guy if you get my meaning . . . Chris Brown is still around and still playing music in his spare time, though he lost most of that hair.

  • I believe this particular track can be found on a compilation DVD available from ABC shops?

  • @Revhead you are right about them being one of the first Aussie band to do a US tour. They were also one of the first to know the pain of touring and coming back broke. And I'm pretty certain Mark Kennedy just finished recording with Genevieve Chadwick this year.

  • @hankrango hi henry.sorry for super long delay in replying..well i'll be ringing him on his 60th birthday this Feb, 2012.

  • @Revhead9

I am pleased to say that Mark Kennedy ( the drummer ) is alive and currently plays with Leo Sayer.

He is still a brilliant drummer.

  • Hi Chris...we found you!!! Thanks again for a great night of music at The Rowers. You guys are fabulous.

I'll be in touch soon. PS...you look great with hair - Karen & Terry

  • This is Ayers Rock in April 1975 at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne. part of the Melbourne "Concert for Bangladesh". There are other clips on youtube of the same gig: Ayers rock playing "Gimme Shelter", and the band Daddy Cool playing "Eagle Rock" and "Hi Honey Ho". AC/DC was also on the bill.
