remembered by family as a funny person with a quick wit who taught

  • @fdasherv That's exactly what I was thinking.

  • Spirit babies and magic underwear! LDS is a cult using tactics of "friending" and such. VERY organised and tactful, probably the strongest and best organised religion there is. My daughter is in LDS and her husband has told me many things within, taken secret pictures and practices. It pretty much eliminates the need of Christ and his death, because mostly it goes over to the guy in golden eyeglasses to read a angelic tablet. Osmonds would be killed to try and leave, don't think I kidding. CULT!

  • Why don't the Mormons just kill their gays outright? Instead we get this dog and pony show.

  • Gravity can be a bitch.

  • All you know is how much you hurt, how lonely you are and feel and how much you want it all to stop. But you see no sensible way of making it stop. Most people who commit suicide, never talk about trying it, never threaten it, never give a clue that it is going to happen. Something as simple as a fight with a friend or as major as a breakup or a death of a loved one can send one spiraling. No rhyme or reason. Stop blaming and start trying to have empathy and compassion.

  • I read these posts and see so many pointing the finger of blame. Blame the LDS religion, the mother, this President Monson character. Being that I was raised in a LDS household, I am not a fond member of the religion and feel that ANY organized religion is a cult... but to blame them for someones actions is wrong. I also attempted suicide when I was 13. I can't say it was really depression... but you get to such a dark point in life that you can't see the light, or the love.

  • Age ravages all! But, in their younger years, the Osmonds were ALL physically gifted in the area of appearance, as well as being kind and extremely talented! I know that all of them will overcome this, and continue to entertain us for years to come! Thank you, George and Olive!

  • Two weeks out of high school, a neighbor who graduated in my class went into the woods behind his parent's home and blew his head off. With a gun that was a graduation gift from his parents, as they were hunters (what a horrible irony). 18 and gone, before the summer even got underway. What causes someone to give up before they even begin? He killed himself because some girl apparently broke up with him. I've no idea as to why Marie's son killed himself. Depression in both cases, possibly.

  • How horribly sad, so young. Depression is inner hell, it's hard to describe unless you've been there. Just a black hole inside.

Btw, religion sucks. Ban religion please !!
