In an expression dipshit. Apparently youve got a lot of growing up to do.

@THREADSTER12 What does being born in Mexico have anything to do with understanding a card game?

This review is great. I'll never understand why game designers of today must make the rules of simple games so confusing to understand. Why cant they explain things visually like this, instead of having people spend hours on understanding them on their own? I would rather have it explained to me like I was 5 years old and born in Mexico.

@lppknight21 agreed. She should've shuffled her discard pile and given herself an extra card for her hand.

There is problem with the way you draw cards in the clean up phase. At 3:28 in the video there is error. You are suppose to draw 5 cards, not up to 5 cards. This is a quote from the rule book: "Then, the player has drawn a new hand of 5 cards from his deck. If there aren't enough cards in his deck, he draws as many as he can, shuffles his discard pile to form a new face-down deck, and then draws the rest of his new hand." (Page 8). But this video said that if you run out before 5 then to bad.

Is "Dominion - A Backwards CCG From Rio Grande Games" the first part of this video? A search for "Dominion - Playing the Card Game Part 1" returned nothing.

Ah, my confusion was from not having played the game before. I was looking at the turns of Player 1, 2 and 3 as a single round, rather than a continuous loop. So I thought by the time Player 3 got her turn, Player one had already discarded all his cards, but instead he has already discarded and picked up 5 new ones. Thanks!

I don't quite understand the question. The basic sequence is that one plays an action card. In the militia's case, it gives the active player +2 during the buy phase. At that point, every other player must discard down to three cards in their hand unless they have a moat. Afterward, the active buys and cleans up as normal.

Trying to understand how the action cards work, specifically themilitia. Would that card only be of use to player one? Or is it always played at the beginning of the round.
If player 3 bought the militia, would she have been able to play the card before Player 1's turn?
Also, per the rules, if you need to draw more cards than are you in your draw deck, you shuffle the discard and continue drawing. You don't just draw until your deck is out and then stop. Thanks.

Again, very helpful video! I bought the game, but had a hard time visualizing how to go through the turns - this made all the difference! Great website you have too!
