@Diabolous3x no it was tss. believe me. i had all sorts of Dr's after my Dr. looking at me.They all said she's got TSS. I remember my Mom was like "what's that"? It happend right when those darn Rely's came out &that's what I was using, then I got sick like all the other girls with the same symptoms they had.I even had a Lawyer call me &said that my main Dr. told him to call me& wanted me to be involved in the big class action lawsuit against Rely.My Dad said no.The Dr&lawyer said to sue!!

@hoirse Believe me...try to change them every 3 hours. Just remember the longer there in there, the more bacteria is building up. Be really, really careful!  Oh and also PLEASE try not to wear them to bed as we sleep and tend to not change them as they need to be changed because we are sleeping. Be Careful = )

@ohpineapples mayb u had/have trichomoniasis and didn't know it... it could help to offset the flora, it has only just been realised as a new sti in the past 8 years or so rivalling clamydia as the most extensive undiagnosed sti

@Diabolous3x I had nobody 2 talk 2 back then as a young teen.My Mom went thru Menapause at 28 &before that she only used pads or was pregnant most of the time(big family) I had an older sister,but she was gone,so I couldn't talk 2 her.Couldn't talk 2 my younger sisters so I really had nobody 2 talk to.Had 2 do it myself & listen 2 Rely commercials.I was just young&dumb 2 be honest.All I remember is I went out Friday night,was fine&Saturday morning woke up sick as a dog w/all symptons&rushed 2 Dr

@Diabolous3x Yes,it was back in about 1980 or so? I was just about to graduate High Sch so it was around that time.I was using those darn Rely tampons that did it to me.I was sick as a dog. I had never been that sick then or now ever. Boy oh boy really, really sick. It even shocked my Dr! I still don't use tampons to this day (after what happened to me) I don't even bring them in the house.I sat my daughter down &told her it's just best not to use them at all.Just use the old fashioin pads.xox

I can speak for all ....I had Toxic Shock Syn !! I had it when those dang Rely tampons came out. I was 16, I had nobody to talk to about using tampons. I used to flow really light. I seen a commerical that said that the Rely tampon could be used for a long time. I trusted them and boom I got it !! It was terrible. I survived it, but omg I was so sick! Do I use tampons today NOPE!! Do I let my daughter use them NOPE !!! It's the old fashion way no baby. Girls BE CAREFUL !!!!!!!!

Omg I use super tampons and change them every 6 7 hours omg I'm gonna change it every 4 to 5 hours now but they may wonder why I'm out of class 2 times a day for 4 to 5 days though I'm in 7th grade

According to my understanding, the toxins themselves aren't the culprits in the disease, but instead the massive immune response they trigger. Is this incorrect?
