Imagine the apocalypse. Now imagine characters and elements from 80s games carrying it out. This is exactly what this crazy video portrays, and being a classic games geek myself, if this sort of thing were to happen in real life, Im not sure whether Id run or marvel at the sight.

Its all there — Pacman, Tetris, Arkanoid. Once-friendly, familiar characters wreak havoc on the buildings, streets and cars of New York. The video was created by Patrick Jean from the Paris-based special effect studio One More Production, and the production level is nothing short of amazing. See for yourself.

Indeed. Not everyone is aware of the fact that it's been done all before (on TV) - about ten years ago. Please do a google search for "Cluesforum Simcity".

  • Master, teach me how to make video's like this one

  • "In Soviet Russia, games play you"

  • Masterfully done.

  • So basically it turns into Sim City New York.

  • Actually wouldn't mind if this is how the world would end in 2012...

  • Fuck Minecraft. Most of them just stay at home and talk about nerdy stuff like that...

  • 0:27 Pixel Dick!

  • WHY DOES THIS NOT HAVE MORE VIEWS

  • here's the story: all the 8-Bit games were tired of all those new games, such as MW3. So, they decided to all join up, pitch in, and make their own game. The problem was, they couldn't access the real world easily enough. they made a deal with a guy named Markus Persson, whose made a few 8-Bit games before, and they went to New York and converted the Big Apple in to it's own new game, Minecraft. this was why Minecon 2011 wasn't in New York... lol
