the perfect red lip | i'm bringing sexy "matte"

nothing says sexy like a matte red lip.
watch as nichole of sugaRushtv shows you how to achieve the iconic look. using inglot's lip color #409, she brings sexy "matte."

here's how:

first moisturize. use a clear or blue chapstick. wait a few minutes then blot with a piece of newspaper. why newspaper? because unlike tissue, it leaves no lint behind!

after you're done blotting, use a sharpened lip liner to line those kissers. a shade darker or the exact color will do just fine.

next step, the coveted red color. using a matte red (in this case it's inglot #409) apply evenly to your lips. lightly blot with newspaper again and apply a second coat.

clean up those edges ladies! using a q-tip and a liquid makeup remover, go over the outer parts of your lip, removing excess lipstick. this creates a smooth line.

to make those puckers punch, line around your lip line with your foundation. using a small eyeshadow brush can help get as close as possible without making a mess or mistake.

touch up any areas if need be.

check out your lips in the mirror cause now you're done! those smoking red lips will stop traffic or make any man weak in the knees.
