@jpalmettoguy i think she got moved up in floor and vault to pole position b/c of the fall on beam. remember, this team was fiercely competitive for those three AA spots. you're right, she deserved to be later in the lineup and probably would've scored better for the team. i think she led off FX and V b/c her AA prospects were over IMO.

@Niwa2780 I like her Music "The Race" that she used in 95 & 96 years...it suits her...the classical that she was using in 94, and the two different songs she used in 2000 just didn't work. But thats just my opinion. :)

@LMA629 Jaycie and Shannon had very similar lines...this was an amazing routine, I'm a Jaycie fan, but Shannon takes it for me.

LAST PASS: FLAWLESS. BEST IN SHOW. WHY THE HELL WAS SHE FIRST UP?
-
Oh that last pass was just gorgeous.

@icarrus4u I don't know, I think Shannon Miller's was better, but this was still beautiful!
-
@icarrus4u I agree, that was beautiful, her leaps were amazing, HUGE air :).

was she the set leadoff for this event? i mean, had she not fallen on BB, would she had still gone first on FX for this lineup or was she placed there after they realized she no longer factored into the AA race?
-
Wow she did great! I love this routine, its probably the most well done choreography.

I so agree! Jaycie actually had some beautiful body lines, and her tumbling passes had the most amplitude next to Kerri's. Looking back, she really should've performed later on bars and floor. I also think her coaches didn't do her any favors by giving her "Racing Car" music for her floor routine. A nice classical piece with balletic choreography would've really accentuated her clean lines and form...and might've made the judges take more notice of her.
Nice! Probably the best compulsory floor for the Americans.

One of the most engaging compulsary exercises I've ever seen :)
