@clioandminnie I'll give you that the person performing the slaughter didn't do a good job. but that is one of the most humane way we as humans kill animals (slitting the throat).

Look at the video to the side "watch?v=4rs-5SCNGr0" you can see him playing with his one of his camels. you will see that these people have a relationship with their animals!

Rendering a camel unconscious by whacking it on the head doesn't seem very nice :D (they are tough)

@clioandminnie I completely agree with you about torture. let me explain something though: these Bedouins have been doing stuff a certain way for thousands of years. They care for and about their animals very much as it is their source of livelihood. The tying of the leg is part of the culture. I think its a muslim thing (I am not a muslim myself)

The camel freaks when it sees the knife, so they have to hold it down.

@Chronix74 There's still no need to simply torture and abuse any animal before slaughter just for the sake of it. I am neither ignorant and far from being an idiot. They could at least stun the animal first so redering it unconcious, but no, they have to watch it suffer.

@clioandminnie Your comment proves that you are an ignorant idiot. Meat doesn't occur in nature as plastic wrapped packages... I Implore you to use your brain. This is the most humane way to kill an animal quickly. These people are farmers and this is what farmers do.

If you got a problem with it. pick another planet. or at least realize that when you voice your opinion it reflects poorly on you. To change this: read some books.
