  • @docvince21 first download youtube downloader than donwload the song than a program called SUPER converter and with it you can convert to any kind of format mp3 -4 etc.. :)

  • @ChristophDollis yes sir

  • @osmosys808

It's a shame. It was a comic book delivery of a very good written work -- and I thought it was a great comic book delivery. Michael Ironside as the teacher/warrior nailed it.

  • @Levente20

    A true Masterpiece.

  • Is there anyway to download this song onto an ipod?

  • First off Starship Troopers is my absolute favorite movie. I was enthralled by this song from the moment i heard it. Just now found it!

  • im watching starship troopers right now on Sci-fi channel :D!!!

  • @Hunpecked You're right satire might have have been a bad choice of words, though the fact that something is satire does not prevent it from being serious. Also I'm at a loss to think what else to call a scene in with a grave subject matter set in a blatantly riddiculous or unbelievable context, dark humor perhaps? Also my choice of satire was based on the words meaning in my native language (Danish) which is slightly different from the meaning in english, or the use of it is anyway.

  • @Patshiv The novel is not satire. Heinlein was ex-Navy writing during the Cold War. His story is as serious as sci fi gets. Yes, the movie's "Fednet" segments are obvious parodies of WW II propaganda, but the rest of the film is played straight.

Two examples of non-satirical silliness in the film: (1) An asteroid attracts the coffee cup but not the starship; (2) A live-fire range in the middle of a crowded base.

  • @Hunpecked Actually the movie makes quite a lot of sense once you realize that the hero/action figure nonesense plot has nothing to do with what the movie is actually about. The movie and the novel on which it was based is a satirical look at propoganda in a totalitarian state and how that propoganda influences the citizens. Moreover it's set in a culture with distinctly western traits and thus draws a lot of parallels to modern societies and especially USA.
