  • Hello, Please get in touch. I am very interested in Peter Skellern's work. I am doing a PHD thesis in the School of Fine Art, Art History & Cultural Studies at the University of Leeds: not related to his music, but I am a fan, and generally interested in 70s music. TR

  • @TeenyR1 Just join my "Peter Skellern" group on Facebook

  • I like him very much but he is slightly repetitive. This song reminds me of "You're lady".

  • @trzcinarowice He's probably not the only artist, who upon having a massive hit record follows up in a similar style. I have put an audio documentary on my Peter Skellern Facebook site in which he mentions this. His albums "Hard Times" onwards follow completely different styles."Hold On To Love" was even covered by a soul artist.

  • Beautiful song and video to match.

  • Wonderful track - until Youtube I really only knew his 2 biggest hits. Think this is only surpassed by "You're A Lady".

  • Maravilloso

  • This is a stunningly beautiful and poignant song and I think the imagery goes with it really well. I'm a big Peter Skellern fan. I think he was 'out of his time'. A brilliant, talented, skilled musician, but maybe not so appreciated in the 70s. I can imagine going to a 20s, 30s, 40s club/piano bar and listening to him playing his music....ahh..how lovely...

  • Peter is an exceptional artist and in my opinion this is one of the sadest popular songs ever.

  • This is one of the most beautiful melodies ever written. It is so emotional.
