Final Fantasy Worst to Best Ranking(Top 5) List Part 2

This is part 2 of my two part series ranking the final fantasy games from worst to best. This video contains my top 5 final fantasies and is filled with pretty much all love and praise.

This is my true first editing project. It took me several hours to put this together and I hope you guys enjoy.

And btw, you're right about that a lot of people that love FF8 also love 10 and vice versa.

Same with FF4 and 9, maybe it's because of the pre-determined jobs for characters in those games.

@MrThomVD I am a big fan of pre-determined jobs. Adds a whole level of characterization to a character. Some people argue that it sucks because you choose a character by his role not his/her personality, but someone's fighting style or job is part of their personality.

Having custamibility is cool, but to a degree. I don't need my frail yet intelligent female companion that is clearly a healer "white mage" turning into a tank. Not to say a female can't be a tank same goes for mage dudes :P.

I'm sorry to say this but again it is your opinion, but I hear nine is absolute garbage, but if that is what you like than I'm happy to hear that because you didn't waste your money,

@NOTcoolBUTTERS Really? FF9 is considered the best final fantasy by many fans. The creator has even stated that it is his personal favorite. It is considered the overlooked gem of the series as it was released quite late in the PS1's life cycle. The game does a great job blending what made the old FFs great and the new ones.

@3211AWEF It is the overall most popular, but many fans of FF7 are simply just fans of FF7 and not the whole series.

FF9 is just a big fan favorite is what I meant. Talk to many people who have played the majority of the games and you will be surprised at how many hardcore fans say 9. FFVI also has its own very very dedicated following that has a lot of people who love to bash FFVII.

@TriforceRich Exactly. FF9 was really underrated when it came out but now I think it has become one of the most beloved games in the series with very few haters compared to 7, 8 and 10. It's also my personal favorite.

I never had as much interest in the game after this because the next FF game started the airship, where you had 50 characters going "Please pick me! Please pick me!" and you kind of feel guilty about some loser characters who sit around on the airship the whole time because they aren't worth using. I much preferred the earlier version where characters would leave - even if it was falling down a hole or whatever - and you'd have a solid 5.

I loved Final Fantasy IV (although at that time it was called II, in the US). The story was incredible and I cared about so many characters - I even cared about those silly twins who had probably the first heartbreaking twist in the game. There are some huge WTF moments in the game which are just unparalleled, and such emotional trauma too.
