We have discovered since this debate that the senate democrats are responsible for the mortgage crisis, Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, and Nasty Pelosi voted down legislation that would have protected us from fannie mae and freddie mac. Sarah Palin never said she could see russia from her house she said "from alaska" and that is true. It was Tina Fey and the rest of the comedians that fooled you into believing that she said that.

This economic mess was almost ENTIRELY the fault of Democrats. In 2006 McCain and 18 other Republican Senators published an open letter, warning that we were in great danger from the FannieMae-FreddieMac disaster, pushed by Clinton and the Democrats, and if we didn't do something fast, the whole mess could collapse. It did.
