@SuperStrelac If you REALLY want to make sodium, you'll need to find a way to SAFELY get PURE table salt (NaCl) up to about 900 degrees celcius to reach it's melting point. After you've melted it you'll need to pass a strong DC current through the molten salt, and at the negative terminal solid sodium will synthesize (appear)
I really don't reccomend doing this because having sodium at 900 degrees celcius is asking for trouble because the sodium will react (EXPLODE) more vilently at this temp.

@lWILLMAKEYOUCRY sodium is different from salt because salt is sodium and chloride mixed together
-
But will it blend?
-
@bballspike LOL theres like half a gram of francium left on earth
-
BUT WEN U PUT SALT IN WATER IT MAKES SALTWATER!!!?!?? WTF
-
be careful...
-
although francium is highly highly explosive, i highly highly doubt you could POSSIBLY obtain any, considering fanciums half-life is approximately 22 minutes, and at any given point in time there can only be a maximum of on ounce of this alkali found on earth, its an extremely rare metal

I was thinking about smuggling potassium
out of our science class. I didn't. Now I wish I did... though it was raining that say. On second thoughts actually...

yeah, but can i make that sodium at my home??? and if i cam,tel mehow.....:DD
Don't you think i would have if i could have? How about you go find some francium and put a video up of you blowing it up?
