screwing around with my 8 string

this one's another 4am video couldn't turn up really loud so unfortunately there's ALOT of picking noise ... i'll try to record one soon that has better sound quality :)

i'm using an ibanez rg2228 8 string guitar tuned low to high
Eb Bb Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb
a line 6 spider valve 1x12
and an Electro Harmonix stereo memory man for looping

@motabaco i buy two sets of strings when i restring, D'addario 7 string 10's and GHS zakk wylde low tune strings with the .70 for the low string.... throw the other 5 strings in the GHS pack away..... guess i should just order some D'addario single .70's lol (guitar center stocks both)

@jimboindahouse never heard of them, i guess if i'm ripping anybody off it'd be In Flames... i was trying to learn the chorus part to 'take this life' totally screwing it up in the process, but had one of those hmmm i wonder if i try this... moments guess it worked sort of!

The first thing you played...sounds like Annihilator's "Kicked"

The first part of what you played being the last 2 notes in the run. and then from there, going in order. The chords. Then the bass part being played on guitar with it (the 2 lower chords)
