How to play Daggerfall on Dosbox

IMPORTANT --- before typing in codes, but after arranging folders, open dosbox and enter these -

mount c c:/dosgames
enter
c:
enter
cd dfcd
enter
install.exe
enter

this installs the game, which i forgot to include "slaps self" sorry, after this continue with video "have to close and reopen dosbox"

I come as far as:

mount c c:/dosgames

c:

cd dagger

dagger213.exe

Then it asks me if I wanna update (which is required) and when I press 'y' it says I can't update because it's not the base folder or whatever.

uhm, i dont think your following the video so i cant really help, my tutorial includes "fall.exe z.cfg" idk anything about "dagger213.exe" ? o.O if you want to continue the conversation please use private message, ill lose track of who you are on comments

when I type in fall.exe z.cfg it says "Illegal Command fall.exe"

@ParagonSolstice usually a problem originating from not reading description, did you? if you did try redoing everything. note that every computer handles this differently, i had to use this one cuz the one bethesda said to use did not work for me. if u have more problems or such please continue the conversation via private message

and also do we put all folders of daggerfall or just the DAGGER folder?

the DAGGER folder and there should be a DFCD folder
