Compassionate Acts - Eric Liu

As a partner in the Charter for Compassion, Odyssey Networks is collecting stories of compassion wherever we travel. While in Seattle for that city's landmark signing of the Charter, we asked Eric Liu about an experience of compassion in his life. An educator and civic entrepreneur, Lui is the author of The Accidental Asian: Notes of a Native Speaker, Guiding Lights: How to Mentor -- and Find Life's Purpose, and co-author of Imagination First and The True Patriot. He is founder of The Guiding Lights Network, a mentoring advocacy organization.
