MAN....that was some serious big-wave stuff there! I remember a contest at Waimea in the early/mid 80's...it was 25+ and only 8 or 10 guys were willing to go out. Couldn't blame 'em....the closeouts were shaking the ground all the way back in the parking lot! ;) A hui ho!!!
