YEP! have a Bo Peep! around Townsville Qld for a starting point? and then ya might change ya mind?? we have so very strange Natives in our Bush!
-
If they lived 20,000 years ago they were eating us, homo sapiens! Imagine being some naked hunter back then and having those teeth tear into you! :-O
-
the only reason that megalania will terrorize australia is because of cloning i mean these animals are only 40000 years old and their genomes are extremely similar to modern monitor lizards so look out for thylacines, mammoths and megalanias in another few years
-
other than that anyone that believes megalania survived must have a brain thats 10,000 years old and rotting
-
new guinea may have massive lizards but thats just because a chunk of its rainforest are unexplored and also inhabited by crocodiles which could be a food source

@MrCrazyshoe Just silly, its nothing new that its said to be extinct on lots of places, hello! It would be more correct if you said its probably still alive, there are more real things and evidence that points to their survival than their extinction. Have an open mind, dont just listen and believe whatever you here, think and do research by yourself, dont just listen to what websites, files and books says and dont think they are all reliable. Are you new at these kinds of subjects or what?

@alexbc7493 It is truly a massive continent.

It's probably not alive.it's registered as EXTINCT on many websites, files and books
@MasterCatastrophe I am supporting my arguments, and if you really wanna know what it would feed on, which many people already has answered, then Im gonna tell you! They can feed on everything from aborigines, travelers, cattle, dogs, Kangaroos, Koalas, Dingos, Snakes, Thylacines, Wombats, Emu Birds, still surviving Moa Birds, Crocodiles, other goanna lizards etc. And if you didnt know, its possible they could go without food for a LONG amount of time! Now I think I just answered your question.

isn't there a chance that their metabolism is low to the level that it can survive weeks, months, yrs without food?..n if so that would mean they would come out at a certain time only to hunt,if they r hunters of course...but being of that case, theres a chance that most of austrailia may still need be explored, and any evidence of it may be overlooked as another creature's doing.
but im just saying,lol
