EQ2: Sentinel's Fate - New Model

This is one of the new models that will come in with Sentinel's Fate the new EQ2 expansion. There where others shown at a different panel unfortunately I didn't get video of them.

@kelaEQ2 Then you're what we call "an idiot". Games like Everquest and World of Warcraft all HUGELY detract from games such as Dungeons and Dragons, and I'd say there's a more significant difference between a pen and paper RPG and an MMO then there is between an RTS and an MMO. Oh, and, I think you're forgetting that the most successful MMORPG of all time is based on one of the most successful RTS franchises of all time. Go back to school.

@Atheocracy Your right I was wrong about the WC2 release date, but the fact that I was wrong is meaningless sence WC2 did not have, as you admit Panderans, that didn't come about until WC3 wich WAS released AFTER 1999. As far as one game taking ques from another, yeah that does happen alot, it would be dumb for them not too. However, I seriously doupt that an RPG is going to take Ques from an RTS, the game play is to differant.

Yes I was talking about panderans as a whole from wc2. Thank you for correcting yourself on the eq date. I should have read before I reflamed. Another person claimed to play it in '92. Why I was meh.

So a game that was released in 1999, I know becUse I played it too, was released in 1992? Even though development began in 1995? That is 2 people claiming to play a game 7 years before it game out and 3 years before dev... Also remember 1992 was SNES era. Computers could not handle a game like the original eq in 1992... Think guys.

@kelaEQ2 I didn't make the argument that Panderans were added in WC2, because any fan of the series know that they weren't. I made the argument that you were atrociously wrong about the release date of Everquest, which, might I add, was NOT the first 3D MMORPG, Meridian 59 was, which was released in 1995. Also, to think that when a game had only been in development for a year, the creators couldn't take queues from other games is completely ignorant.

@lotrdude327 FYI WoW fanboy EQ1 released in 1992 I know becuase I played it when it was released, seriously get a life and just admit that EQ1 it pretty much better than that kids game you call World of Fail (WoF).

@Atheocracy Your right I was wrong about the release date of EQ, but sence it was in Development for about 5 years the 1995 release of an RTS couldn't have influanced charactor addtions, not that an RTS would influance the first 3D MMORPG. That said like another poster said it appears the Pandarians where not added until Warcraft 3, a simple Google Search would prove that... maybe you should do your own research befor throwing insults.

So EQ released before WC2? I don't know. I know this is a cool model though with sweet animations, i'm dying to get back into EQ2 when i get my pc up and running.
