I've never been a George Harrison fan. I try to come here to convince myself that he was actually "better" than I give him credit for. In fact, I am more convinced now than ever that George's music was pedestrian. Except for maybe 3 or 4 songs, much of the body of George's work suffers. His weak, almost feminine voice does not lend itself to solos. His jangly guitar is discordant to the ear. His awkward lyrics are self-conscious. His melodies, RINKY-DINK. I hate George now more than ever!
