Should the war ever reach the coasts of the United States the Hearts of Iron 3 map is ready to provide an environment for the war to progress on. We also demonstrate some of the new production features available in Hearts of Iron 3, build up your National Guard ready for mobilisation on war and also the ability to build cheaper, but less effective downgraded ships. Allowing you to tailor your navy better.

Hearts of Iron III is now the Beta stage of development. These last months has seen the team stabilizing the foundations of the AI, tightening up the rules and mechanics of the game, along with implementing brand new artwork and interface features. With the Beta crew now in place the testing has already started and Hearts of Iron III is scheduled for release during the latter half of 2009.

The third instalment in the critically acclaimed World War II strategy series, Hearts of Iron III will feature a plethora of brand new features to satisfy veteran and novice players alike, including a huge game map with more than 14,000 land and sea provinces.

Hearts of Iron III is scheduled for release in Q3.

@WhitNeeify IMAGINE HOW MUCH TIME IT'D TAKE! I'd love to see it, but considering company of heroes works with maximum 100 men, and HOI3 involves millions, I'm not sure you could manage it too well!

@HandPeopleHandPeople Actually, the swastika is a symbol used in a lot of cultures. Even the Christians used it, although they call it a Gammadion Cross. The one the Nazis have is simply a tilted version of the "real"/untilted swastika.

in the normal hoi3 I had at least a chance. but now. boooow no chance at all. WTF.

A patch needs to be delivered. Japan didnt invade so much !!

I dont want a history game, but thats impossible to play for comm.china!

@Omasters I once conquered Europe, Russia, North Africa, Middle East as Germany. I invaded Canada with no problems and at this time i still wasn't at war with the USA (started WW2 early) so i stacked i think 300,000~ troops in Canada and organised about 100-150,000 troops to attempt a amphibious landing on the East coast. My troops in canada got there asses handed to them due to supply problems and being outnumbered though they lasted over a year and my Amphib force was pushed into the ocean.

I would kill to have my computer run HOI3 this fast. I've got Windows XP and the computer itself is near 10 years old. I want to kill myself when I see HOI3 run this fast, it's depressing.
