@1scottbird Thanks very much. Las Vegas is a nice vacation spot, and I recently gave a lesson to a player from Ohio who was here on business/vacation. So if you, or anyone else reading this, is ever in town, drop me an email.
As an alternative, if you have a video of yourself playing or hitting, post it to You Tube, or email me if it's small enough, and I can give you some advice/feedback.
Take care.

That helped a lot. I wish I lived closer to get that great teaching first hand.

@reeserud Thanks very much. I'm glad you liked the video and my website. If you're new to the game, I recommend checking out the tutorial section, starting with proper grip. Then it's on to stroke mechanics. After that, it's beating your friends and sending me an email to brag about it. lol
Take care.

wat is according to you, down and ready? you mention it quite a lot. Also, a question regarding my game, i've had some tough time returning this high lob to my forehand, it bounces first close to the short line and then come high and 2 bounces about 2 inches from the bwall. it it real hard for my to cutoff and shooting it from back court is nearly impossible. 'ny help? nice vid btw. also, i'll be posting another excrept from a match pretty soon.

@armatold Hey Sebastian. Hope all is well. Down and ready is the position you assume that leaves you most able to "explode" toward the ball. If you look at Jeff's position at 0:21 seconds, he isn't quite there. And then, like a lot of people, Jeff makes the mistake of shifting to a down and ready position, AFTER I've struck the ball. He should have been in that wider position, knees flexed, ready to pounce, at the time the ball was leaving my racquet, not after.

@armatold
I see MANY people make this mistake, costing them valuable time. In your game play video, Sebastian, you ARE down and ready, but make the mistake of "guessing" or moving before the serve is hit, leaving you vulnerable when you guess wrong.
