  • Nice review. Could you please tell me what speaker stands are used in this video?

  • @PsychoTychoBrahe Thank you. The speaker stands we have used are the Apollo AZ6 stands which are 600mm tall.

  • ive bought some q acoustic 2020 speakers, at the moment im using a jvc micro system but im looking to buy a new av receiver or denon dm38 dab system, they're both around the same price range but which would be a better choice, a dab system or an av receiver

  • @2009thread1 It really depends what you want to achieve. If you are looking at going into home cinema then you could get an AV receiver and run it in a stereo mode for now, and add a centre, rears and a subwoofer onto the system to make it 5.1. However, if all you are looking for is stereo then a small CD receiver like the DM38 will happily drive your 2020 bookshelf speakers, though for stereo you'd be better off investing the money into a good quality separate stereo amplifier.

  • @avlanduk well ive been looking at stereo receivers for a few days now and i cant seem to find one with a subwoofer pre out ? i can find lots of nice intergrated amplifiers but also with no subwoofer outputs and i know the denon dm38 has one but wont have the quality of a stereo receiver

  • @2009thread1 If you go to our website and search for the Onkyo TX-8050, that is a good separate stereo receiver with networking functions and a subwoofer pre-out (along with L/R and Zone 2 pre-outs).

  • These speakers are really good, compared to price and quality range! I own a pair of these and even as front speakers they perform really beautifully. The base is more then enough for a 4x6x4 meter room.

Highly recommend them as bookshelf speakers or fronts for home theater systems.

  • @avlanduk its nice, but over my price range lol

  • MADE IN CHINA? WTF! KEF BASTARDS LEFT THE UK

  • @twixter1000 We've not been able to do an A/B comparison between the KEF Q300 and the Klipsch RF62II but to my mind there is very little competition for the KEFs at this price point. If you're in the UK, I'd also suggest looking at the KEF XQ10LE as they are a very luxurious speaker with a beautiful gloss Cherry finish.
