Joe: "Did you just say what I think you just said?"

Nick: [[He talks calmly.]] "Yes. I said I like Demi."

Joe: "You can't like her!"

Nick: "Why not? 'Cause you like her?"

Joe: "...maybe...I don't know..." [[He looks away.]]

Nick: "Dude, I know you do. I don't like Demi I was just kidding!" [[He laughs.]]

Joe: "You set me up!"

Nick: "Yep! It's called payback!" [[He smiles.]]

Joe: "Well I never said I liked her!'

Nick: "But you didn't say you didn't like her!" [[He winks and jumps back into the pool.]]

Joe: [[He gets back in confused.]]

Demi: "Can I talk to you, Joe?"

Joe: "Yeah. Sure!" [[He swims over to her.]]

Demi: "What were you asking me earlier before you had to shoot your scene?"

Joe: [[He tried to remember.]] "Oh yeah! I wanted to ask you if... you wanted to hang out sometime.. I mean just you and me?"

Demi: [[She smiles.]] "Sure! When?"

Joe: [[He smiles back.]] "How about tomorrow?"

Demi: [[Her smile fades.]] "Um...sorry I have a couple of photoshoots and I'm going on a talk show...but what about Saturday?"

Joe: [[He stops smiling too.]] "I have two talks shows, a radio interview, and a photo shoot... what about Sunday?"

Demi: "I can't. Sunday I'm going to New York to shoot the pilot episode for Sonny With a Chance."

Joe: "What? You got the part? That's great!" [[He hugs her.]]

Demi: [[She hugs him.]] "Yeah, but I won't be back for a week..." [[She sighs.]]

Joe: "Oh...well when you come back we can hang out then." [[He fake smiles.]]

Demi: "I promise." [[She smiles.]]

Joe: "Come on. Let's go bug my brothers and Selena."

Demi: [[She laughs.]] "Okay."

[[They join Kevin, Nick, and Selena.]]

Kevin: "So, Demi what's happened since we last talked to you?"

Demi: "Umm... interviews, photoshoots, meet and greets, small shows, and did I mention I'm gonna have my own show on Disney?"

Kevin: "I'm so proud of you!"

Demi: "Thanks!"

Nick: "How cool? Selena and you both have your own show!"

Selena: "I'm so happy for you, Dem!"

Kevin: "Joe, aren't you gonna congratulate Demi?"

Demi: "No, he already did."

Kevin: "Oh. Why are you so quiet? I didn't think that was possible!"

[[Everyone laughs except Joe.]]

Joe: "Huh? Oh sorry. I'm happy for you, Demi!"

Demi: "Thanks, Joe!"

Joe: [[He smiles weakly.]]

[[On Saturday...]]

Kevin: "Let's go say bye to Demi now 'cause she's leaving early tomorrow morning."

Joe and Nick: "Okay."

[[At Demi's house...]]

Selena: "Demi, you are leaving for a week not for a year! Why do you need so many clothes?"

Demi: "Selena you can never have too many clothes!"

Selena: "Whatever you say!"

[[The door bell rings.]]

Selena: "I'll get it for you."

Demi: "Thanks."

Selena: [[She runs downstairs and opens door.]] "Hey, guys! I'll get Demi. Demi!!" [[She yells.]]

Demi: [[She runs down the stairs.]] "Selena, do you have to yell like that?"

Selena: [[She smiles sweetly.]]

Kevin: "We came to say bye before you go." [[He hugs her.]]

Demi: "Aw.Thanks but I'm not leaving until tomorrow."

Kevin: "Sorry, we can't make it tomorrow."

Demi: "Oh."

Nick: "My turn!" [[He hugs her.]] "Good luck over there." [[He turns to Joe.]] "Don't you have something to tell Demi?"

[[They all look at Joe.]]
