  • by the way can you make any more videos of this car please?

  • Videos of what? I'm not actually very good at car repair...but I'll be replacing the transmission fluid soon, so I guess I'll try and document it :)

  • Thanks heaps man!!!

  • @SECRETZX

    Probably a wheel bearing.

  • is it easy to replace the ignition cylinder

  • Wow thanks for the video. I have a 98 that I need to swap the alternator for later today and this'll really help.

  • its easy.

    right on top !.

Subarus are easy to work on. and thats why i love them.

    5/5

  • Thank you. I replaced it this morning.

  • My 1995 Legacy's alternator looks identical to this one, including the black shield that protects the pulley. I replaced my alternator a few months ago and it was just as you describe.

One point: It's easier and just as safe to remove the negative battery lead instead of the positive lead. Fiddling with the positive lead could cause a spark if you touch metal, but it's not a problem with the negative lead.

  • hey i jos ot new alternator and it's getting hot like old one only at night. and yours is like that too

  • I just bought a 93 Legacy Non-Turbo.

I only have a problem with check Engine that comes on when I use mainly 4th or 5th gear on the highway.(Above 80K/hr)

dose anyone know what's the problem??

    Thanks

  • just of the the car and a drive

    thanks :)
