For all the Saints, sung by the RSCM Millennium Youth Choir, conducted by David Ogden. Recorded in Chester Cathedral for BBC Songs of Praise.
For all the saints, who from their labors rest,
Who Thee by faith before the world confessed,
Thy Name, O Jesus, be forever blessed.
Alleluia, Alleluia!
O blest communion, fellowship divine!
We feebly struggle, they in glory shine;
All are one in Thee, for all are Thine.
Alleluia, Alleluia!
From earth's wide bounds, from ocean's farthest coast,
Through gates of pearl streams in the countless host,
And singing to Father, Son and Holy Ghost:
Alleluia, Alleluia!
Any way you slice it, this is one of the best hymns of all time! Add trumpet, tympani, and a choir singing the descant... it brings tears to my eyes everytime!!

I remember Dan's amazing stop change! Don't think I've watched this before but it made my day that you got it in there :P

To brisk for a choral procession but beautiful in this setting!

@VisitStPeters Fair enough but in that case everyone is entitled to my opinion and I think this speed is spot on for singing :-)

@goodchappy - it's subjective. I like it in 4. This is more of an alla breve. Everyone is entitled to my good taste. :)
