I'm from Titusville, I've been in lots and lots of old houses that were rumored to be haunted. Mostly they were just old houses that were falling down. Nothing haunted about them. Who is that Melissa girl (that saw a "face in the mist")? She sounds like she is from Wisconsin. My wife and I think that part is funny....."Melissa saw a face in the mist!........"

i bet he trapped a woman in the house and she tried to escape by braking the window and he pulled her back in and planted her in the basement like a potato! and she died there, hence the window broke from inside and the woman s bag just near the window, the locked door and the shovel near the basement. i also recon he was still there with you and went down the hole to the basement when you went upstairs. that why there was food in that fridge and the light.

The glass from the window is on the OUTside which means it was broken from the inside. which is odd. and WHY is there a purse when the man lived alone and had never been married?? you should have gone in durring the day when you could see better.

Many years ago in my teens.me and a friend of mine broke into an abandoned house.(Durring the day).We don't know the history of the home..but from what we gather a Black family use to live there..The wierd part was it looked like the family just up and left..plates and dinner was still on the table..a small pile of mail was on the coffee table dating 1979 along with a rotary phone.(the yr was 1984 when we broke in) to this day i still have that rotary phone don't have a clue what happen to them
