  • Thank you so much for posting this...

Do you have Rolling Stock from this very same show??

  • I have indeed I will post it soon.

  • Finally I got to hear the version with "eat the plastic, it's fantastic". I've always been wondering how it was.

    Thanks for posting!

  • I love the detail in this production, for example Rusty storming past Ashley sending her in a spin. The other productions just lack those little touches, the deeper understanding that the original production had.

Thanks for posting! There's nothing to rival this production.

  • I have some great news! There will be a new UK touring production of Starlight Express commencing on May 10th 2012!

  • :D my favorite song from Starlight Express. Though I like the 1st version

  • @chrissi2810 this is actually from the revamped london version, this is when they changed it to the new starlight express, they dropped some really good songs such as only he sung by pearl, thers me sung by cb who totally vanished in the new production and the same thing happened to belle the sleeping car who also had a great song, the original was by far the best and noone could touch stephanie lawrence she was superb as pearl

  • @chrissi2810 there were 2 different london productions the original and then the new starlight express, the original was by far the best its a shame they dropped pearls solo of only he and cb song theres me,and also belle the sleeping car number,

  • Wow - i would have loved to have seen this in the West End :( I've only seen it twice on tour which was amazing :)

  • They put it back in for the NZ show which just ended but it's a different orchestration. Was a much more 'power' vocal song.

  • Yes, there are 3 versions:

    - the London/Germany Version

    - the Concept Album Version

    - the US/UK/NZ-Tour Version

  • Funny, I know a different version of this song

  • I love this song...it never should have been deleted from the show
