  • same thing with my macbook, it´s just the fan that´s worn out.... This is my first mac but things have been falling apart during these 3 years, and that has never happend to my pc´s...

  • oil the fan if it is non broken

  • @Jehhuu i just did the same, but used industrial thread oil. magic. fixed. also accidentally broke 1 fan blade off. so i took off the blade opposite that to balance the whole thing while it spins. dead silent now

  • I have that laptop too and recently had the SAME problem, I am still wondering how to fix it. Changing the fan or something, I don't know yet...

  • my fan i loud but not like that one i will make a vid soon

  • @thejam10555 how do you take a battery out of a unibody

  • you have to reset the PRAM turn it off

    take the battery out

hold power button for 5 sec

put batter back in and it should work

i also heard of doing the battery steps then as soon as u turn it back on u press some buttons when you hear the chime

  • you used smcFanControl?????????

  • lol maybe because your using a windows server. on a mac.

  • there's something fucked up inside...

i have the same macbook.... and i only hear the fan while playing games
