Rune Factory 2: Padova Boss Fight

My strategy is to wait untill the boss strike first then attack while the boss is recovering its momentum. If you get hit by the crystals then it'll be a one hit KO so when you see the crystals on its back glows then it means the crystals will appear so move a few distance away to avoid getting hitted. Getting hurt is inevitable but try not to die, check your distance when low on hp then use cure to heal. When the boss turns purple and go on a rampage no more crystals will appear so use this as advantage but be careful. I include the failed attempts on the video so you could see what makes it wrong.

What level were you here? And which weapon do you recommend for defeating this boss, because as of now, I'm taking an interest in hammers, but the thing about hammers is that they're slow to swing, so if you don't try to attack with the hammer at exactly the right time, you could be in danger, coz I see you're using a sword in this video.

@ChecXYkitout As for now, i did'nt use long sword anymore, the best weapon is shortswords since they can attack fast so you can recover your momentum faster and dodge attacks more easily. Check my video killing shrine boss with shortswords, they are the best weapon I can recommend. I kill the last boss with my shortsword much easier than I could imagine =) . I forgot My level in here but fire elemental weapons might work.

However, I was wondering which level is the best to fight the Mammoth/Elephant? Because I am almost at this part (I am at the boss of Messhina Valley but, I get the ice tablets from the Mountains). Thnks for the answer! :D

@BlistexJaune Thanks! If you noticed that I missed a lot of attacks cuz I just figured out that shortsword is the best weapon compared to any other weapons since it is safe,quick momentum recovery & quick/destructive damage. Check my video using it while fighting the shrine boss, its not a spoiler since no main plot of the story has been revealed, just fighting some of the bonus boss after finishing the entire game =)

@rpstudiosproduction In my case, yes. So when the crystals on its back shines you have to move away, otherwise you got to repeat the whole process of dieing again. =/
