The Tamiya Championship Series is now in its 16th year and going strong. One of the attractions of the series is the possibility to attend the annual North American Finals at the Tamiya Test Track in Alisio Viejo, California and possibly go on to win a chance to represent the USA at the World Championships in Japan. We attended the event this year and captured all the exciting A-Main action as it happened.
In this video we get to see the second A-Main of the GT3 Class. The rules of the class state that racers must use a tub chassis car, handout battery pack and a handout motor. Joe Glover from Canada captured the pole in qualifying and won A-Main number 1. With a second win he can clinch the championship and the trip to Japan.
