Totally agree with all the comments - Hugh makes the film cause he does do his own stunts - and it shows. This is one of the best films I've seen for a long time - no flashy"special effects" So glad that w***** Russell Crowe dropped out of this epic and let a real "MAN" take the lead!!

I don´t like Russell Crowe either. He might be a good actor but he doesn´t have Hugh´s charm and natural charisma. And, he isn´t so sexy either :-)

Where is Hugh Jackman from, he has an Auzzie accent in this, but I never noticed it before.

The film was on last night but I only saw about 20 minutes in the middle which is so annoying because it looked really good. : (

He kind of lied. He has had experience with horses. He replaced Guy Pearce in 'The Man From Snowy River' (known also as 'Snowy River, the McGregor Saga') while Guy was filming LA Confidential in America. He was riding horses every day in Australia's Victorian Alps region (very rugged terrain). I have been a Guy fan for ages and couldn't wait for Guy to come back to Oz to take over the role again. I wasn't into Hugh then. Don't understand myself now (ha ha).

Did he also do the jumping over the fence when they were taking the cattles to the ship.. Cus that looked like a high jump...
