  • Let me clear this up! A gsxr 1000 had more power than a zx10 of the same yr.I own a zx9 that's jetted an bored,an I'll b lucky to beat a gsxr 1000. With a turbo? Yea I would but I hear the zx10 an Gsxr 1000 story, stock to stock the Gsxr wins every time

  • @ajones294 Stock for stock ZX10 vs GSXR 1000 same year are very close bike. The ability and the weight of riders will be the difference in the winner and loser.

  • No way not true, gsxr1000 not much slower than zx10r, both stocks, ur zx9r got turbocharger, so how much is ur rwhp on ur zx9? But zx10r vs u, zx10 hold u until 150+ then u run away, then against gsxr1000, u smoke gsxr very easy after 100 mph I don't believe it. Reason I don't believe it because gsxr1000 not that much slower than zx10r no way. It very closest fast as zx10r.

I'm agree with you. Like i told in old reply below : GSXR 1000, ZX10, Busa, ZX14 all bikes are very close stock for stock. One thing can do the difference between these bikes, the driver weight. You do reference to the ZX10 race. In the ZX10 race, i had 8 psi boost full exhaust ansd stock lenght. With this setup, i can't run full throttle until 125mph and i don't started with brake boosting. The ZX10 driver weight only 145pounds.

  • @kawi9

The GSXR race. My setup 9+psi, race exhaust (-10 pounds, 10+whp,) extended 6+in. Around 20whp more whp than the ZX10 race. With this setup, i can run full throttle at any speed and i can start with brake boosting !!! Also, the GSXR driver is 30+ pounds heavy. Now, you can know why the resalut in these two races are different. But, if the GSXR and ZX10 guys in the video do a race. I will bet on the ZX10, because the ZX10 driver is light weight.

  • Nice race mate!

The gsxr is a decently quick bike. A stock zx9 would give it a good try, but pos lose by a good few lengths, this proves just how much extra performance you get from the turbo.

    Keep it up!!

  • @advent3 Thanks and yes this race is just for show how a turbo can up the performance on a bike. We knew the result before to make the race.

  • What good is more power when you're also heavier? 2004-2005 zx10r greatest power to weight ratio of any 1000cc production bike ever made. shortest wheelbase ever, steepest rake ever.what does this mean? A better handling more responsive bike. Who the fuck cares whos a millisecond faster in a straight line with two same weight very experienced riders....the facts are right infront of you zx10r is faster around a track period.

  • Holy shit!!!

  • great videos dude!

  • @sebastianzx6r HAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHA ..

I know enough that a skilled rider on a 50hp bike would never beat a so so rider on a 150hp bike in a straight line race on some interstate. Yes you might have more skill but in a straight away as long as one bike has a crap load more horse power it will probably win. Look at Casey Stoner vs Rossi a couple of years ago. Rossi would pass stoner in the turns and then on the straight away stoner would roll right on by. I wonder how? Oh yeah just a faster bike in the straight away.
