Also, I love your garage.

Awesome. Have you considered putting a roll bar on the machine? Looks like a blast. I just would worry about safety.

George I watched this whole thing. Very entertaining and informative. If you know, how much did you end up paying total?

What a NICE design!!! WOW! I think it looks better than mine... which is more of a "Utility" design with a On-board Honda 3500 watt Generator to charge the Decathlon Electric race cars, Electric transportation rules, check out 22500 watt electric skateboard" being real, I just call mine a "Hybrid" skateboard so I can drive on the Street.

Looks really fun to drive. nice shop too. Some cosmetic suggestions could be non-solid wheels and maybe some of that studded metal plate along the bottom for foot rests/detail and kinda give it more substance. Keep it up man, gonna check out some of your other videos too. I saw your old bike one.

Ladies and Gentleman... The Electric Car has arrived!
Have you tried to calculate the amount of solar panels you might need to recharge this and could they fit in the roof or on a trailer towed behind the car? What is the range of this thing cause there are many that could use this as a to work car set the solarpanels south and go inside work and when they get off the panels should have reamped the batt making the car 1/2 powered by the sun. Great car as is pure perfection if had solar power.

Good question, I haven't done the calculations but I can tell you it would be more than you could fit on the roof of a small bus which is way to many, that's why having the retractable cord to the on board charger is better.

It is a 72 volt lead acid system, top speed is about 40 in about 6 to 8 seconds and it will run for twenty miles, weighs about 300 pounds, all-trax controller, racing cart brakes but with two calipers instead of one like most carts, 40 size chain with one jack shaft and a Comet differential. Steering is rack and pinion like on sand rails column I built myself from solid aluminum and tubing.
