@RailfanWaterloo no they don't, The Canadian always has a Park car regardless.
only one Park got rebuilt at a time.
the Park car for this train got left in Winnipeg for HEP and brake issues.

the sad thing is that in time eventually the canadian will consist of cars like that, you can only rebulid equipment so many times .......

Amazing catch. The reason there is no park car on this train as a majority are in to be rebuilt. So every other VIA #1 leaving Toronto and every other VIA #2 leaving Vancouver does not have a Park Car but some sort of dome car for the First Class Passengers.
