Farmers Fight - Stand Up

Farmers Fight is a student-led initiative to reconnect American society to the world of agriculture. Beginning with university students, Farmers Fight encourages consumers to ask where their food comes from, and give students, faculty, public officials, and farmers and ranchers an opportunity to become "agvocates" for the agriculture community.

Why is there so much arguing over this video people? You are arguing over execution of farming and not the bigger picture that in larger city’s people think that the grocery store they shop at makes the food. It would be great if everyone could own a small farm and raise their own food. That however will not feed the millions of people who live in large cities. Ag –literacy is at an all time low that should be the number one message people take away from this video.

@BattleDime I just wanted to ask you..... Do you know anything about agriculture? Do you know how many different job types fall under agriculture? Oh and can you please tell me where you think your showers come from and how you think your water gets cleaned and how it warms up?

You also have to remember though that there will always be a market for agriculture even if it is diminishing. Maybe in the future all our food will come from overseas or be engineered but there will always be someone who desires "home grown" and "natural" foods.
